Joseph Bolehovský (1743–1811). Litaniae Lauretanae in D. Regina caeli

In this edition we present next two works by Joseph Bolehovský (1743–1811), the composer, whose rich musical output was well known in many centers of Silesia, Bohemia, Moravia, Hungary and Poland. In the collection of the Jesuit parish church in Kłodzko, there has been stored, among others, his Litaniae Lauretanae in D and Regina caeli. Both compositions, designed for a vocal quartet, two violins, two clarini trumpets and organ (the setting of antiphon include also three trombones and timpani), are kept in a cheerful and solemn atmosphere. They are a good example of the Marian repertoire collected and performed in Jesuit centers in our part of Europe.
